COURSE DESCRIPTION
Short Description : The NRA Basic Rifle Shooting Course introduces students to the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a rifle safely

The course is eight hours long and is conducted by an NRA Certified Instructor in a classroom and at a shooting facility. Students will learn the following topics:
1. Rifle Knowledge and Safe Handling
2. Ammunition Knowledge and the Fundamentals of Rifle Shooting
3. Firing the First Shots
4. Scoring Targets, and Selecting and Maintaining a Rifle
5. Continued Opportunities for Skill Development
All materials will be provided for you. You must supply your own ammunition for all range activities.
The Basic Rifle Shooting Course will begin at 8:00 on the day of the class and is eight hours.
Bring your .22LR Rifle and 100 rounds of ammunition.
