COURSE DESCRIPTION
Short Description : The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course introduces students to the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely

The course is eight hours long and is conducted by an NRA Certified Instructor in a classroom and at a shooting facility. Students will learn the following topics:
1. Pistol Knowledge and Safe Handling
2. Ammunition Knowledge and the Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting
3. Firing the First Shots
4. Scoring Targets, and Selecting and Maintaining a Pistol
5. Continued Opportunities for Skill Development
All materials will be provided for you. You must supply your own ammunition for all range activities.
The Basic Pistol Shooting Course will begin at 8:00 on the day of the class and is eight hours.
Bring your handgun and 100 rounds of ammunition.
